Our Team
Taj Capozzola
Taj Capozzola, CEO, and co-founder of Harness Energy, is a visionary leader with a passion for renewable energy and a drive to innovate and build. Growing up in in the surf of New York, his respect for the natural world, and a passion for skiing, led him to Colorado, where he began work in the clean energy sector. He was captivated by the prospect of harnessing the Earth's resources to power a greener tomorrow. Armed with an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, he co-founded Harness Energy over 15 years ago, with the simple vision to optimize the way work was done in the field and improve the results for the renewable energy development community. His leadership is grounded in deep trust and respect for his team and his clients, and a passion for learning and capturing possibilities. In his free time, he enjoys the adventure of travel, the challenges of golf, and the joys of raising his young family.

Andrew Mangan
After growing up on the East Coast and graduating with a business degree from the College of William & Mary, Andrew followed his skis to Vail. 18 years later, Colorado is definitely home! He brings his years of business expertise to help grow and build Harness Energy as COO. His ability to drive processes and systems while creating a great culture for employees and delivering great experiences to clients makes him a great fit for our team. He is also grateful to be working in the renewable energy industry and is passionate about being a part of a clean energy future. When not working, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and two children playing in the mountains, at Red Rocks for a show, or downtown for a game. You may also see him competing out on an ultimate frisbee field trying to get one more national championship before he gets too old and retires to the road bike full time.
Will Everhart
Will has been with Harness Energy since 2010 and currently serves as the Director of Sales. Proudly beginning his career in renewables as a field technician, wind & solar resource assessment projects have taken Will all over the country and the world. From the very beginning, his goal has been to provide Harness’ customers with the highest quality data sets in support of their development pipeline, thereby facilitating the necessary expansion of sustainable energy production. His professional passions are deeply rooted in Harness’ core values: respect, agility, and follow-through. When he isn’t problem solving with his team or a client, you can find Will spending quality time with his family, hitting the ski slopes of CO, or enjoying live music.
Favorite Cartoon Character: Bandit (Bluey’s dad) because he inspires me to be a better father.
Wade Grewe
Wade Grewe is a Program Manager who specializes in working with Meteorological Evaluation Towers (METs). He has worked for Harness Energy since 2012 and has enjoyed traveling all over The United States and abroad. Wade loves to share the knowledge and experience he has gained over the years with his team to elevate everyone’s potential. He is originally from Northern Colorado and when not working in the field, you can find him enjoying any of the outdoor activities Colorado offers.

Brandon Howard
Brandon Howard is the Director of Field Services at Harness Energy. Brandon has spent nearly a decade working with LiDAR and SODAR to support renewable energy development worldwide. His time at Harness Energy has provided a great opportunity to expand that impact even further. Brandon is an inspired and driven teammate, who appreciates tackling difficult challenges with his colleagues. In his free time, he enjoys mountaineering and spending time with his dogs.

Thomas DeNatale
Thomas DeNatale is a Solar Program Manager with over 5 years of renewable energy experience as a customer and field service. Thomas specializes in the deployment of Solar Resource Assessment systems throughout the US and is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of each project. Thomas is detail-oriented and enjoys creating systems to maximize team efficiency and morale. He first built this skill set as a volunteer for the Peace Corps in Ethiopia where he worked with locals and individuals across cultural backgrounds, to develop more efficient farming practices. In his free time, Thomas likes to hike, camp, and play music with friends.

Kate Rettig
Kate Rettig is the HR Manager at Harness Energy, where she leverages her years of experience on People Teams to design and implement programs that empower team members to thrive. Her career has been dedicated to driving impactful initiatives like new hire training programs, career pathing frameworks, and management development programs while aligning people strategies with business goals. Originally from the Midwest, Kate graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before moving to Colorado to embrace her love of the mountains. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, camping, and paddle boarding with her husband and two young children.

Dominick Boettcher
Dominick Boettcher is the Program Manager for Remote Sensing at Harness Energy. Dominick has been with the company since July 2022, for the first 2 years he was in the position of Lead Field Technician completing deployment, decommissioning, and maintenance work on LiDAR units across the continental states for the cause of renewable energy development. His time at Harness has provided plenty of opportunities to be in a leadership role supporting his peers and subordinates. Dominick’s confidence in completing a task no matter what the obstacle, is apparent once you’ve had a conversation with him. In his free time, he enjoys the gym, anime, and spending time on his gaming PC.

Born and raised in the foothills of Boulder County, Trevor has worked in construction, solar, environmental remediation, permitting, wildland firefighting and mitigation and more. A Fort Lewis College alumnus, Trevor has a US utility patent, a passion for understanding how things are made and how they fail, and a love for machining & 3D printing. Landscape and panoramic photography, digital art, 4wd exploration, desert and high altitude hiking, PC simulators, and reading extensively fill many of his non-working hours.
